With TapTheTable a QR code menu is free: the Free plan holds up to 5 categories and 30 items with your logo and colours, and stays at R0 for as long as you like. Table ordering starts at R300 a month on Starter, Telegram alerts and a POS till at R500 a month on Pro, and a kitchen display and self-service kiosk at R700 a month on Business. Yearly billing gives two months free.

No, and on purpose. A once-off package pays for a menu that is right on the day it is printed. A subscription pays for a menu that is still right next year: price changes, sold-out items, new dishes and the order board all keep working, and the team is paid every month to keep it that way. If you only need the menu, the Free plan costs nothing at all.

No. There is no site visit and nothing to install, so the price is the same in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Gqeberha, Bloemfontein and every town in between. You sign up, photograph your menu and print the codes yourself.

No. Every new business gets 14 days of the Pro plan free with no card. When the trial ends you choose a paid plan or stay on Free; nothing is charged unless you subscribe.

Subscriptions are paid in rand by card or EFT through PayFast or Yoco, monthly or yearly. Cancel from the billing page at any time; the plan runs to the end of the period you paid for and then moves to Free.

No. Customers pay your business directly through your own PayFast, Yoco, SnapScan, Zapper, iKhokha or Stripe account, or at the counter. TapTheTable never touches the money and charges nothing per order.
